Nottingham-based singer songwriter ROB.GREEN has drawn upon the varied genres of music he grew up with – including soul, RnB, indie and rock, to inform his own distinctive sound and style.
In 2016, his self-titled ROB.GREEN EP debuted in the Top 40 of iTunes Album Chart in it's first week (and #3 in iTunes RnB Chart). He has won international critical acclaim for the innovative, continuous shot music video for Blue - the EP's debut single.
In 2016 alone, he performed over 100 fixtures around the UK including; Y Not Festival, Victorious Festival, and gave an exclusive performance at the Apple Regent Street store to celebrate the EP's success as part of their #TodayatApple programme.
BELIEF is the first single release from the Nottingham songwriter in 2017.
After immediately gaining the attention of BBC Introducing's Dean Jackson - BELIEF received plays from Tom Robinson (BBC 6MUSIC) and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1) within one week of each other.
Talking candidly about pitfalls and temptations of following ambition. BELIEF is a dramatic leap from his previous stripped sound; featuring the sterling advice of Aretha Franklin’s father; Rev C.L. Franklin, heart-pounding production and ROB.’s signature soulful powerhouse vocal.
