ROB.GREEN is an independent soul/pop artist from Nottingham who draws from the R&B, Soul, Indie, Rock and Gospel music he was raised on to inspire the guitar led alt/soul music he makes.

An irrepressible and captivating live performer Rob has performed across the UK and Europe. Usually only armed with his loop pedal, acoustic guitar and signature soulful vocal; Rob has opened Arena shows for internationally acclaimed soul and pop acts, such as Earth Wind & Fire, Mama’s Gun, Eric Bibb, Alexander O’Neal and Whitney Houston Hologram Tour.

The singer and songwriter made his recording debut in 2012 and gained attention with his second studio EP - ROB.GREEN EP - when it debuted at number #34 and #3 in the iTunes Album and R&B chart respectively.

He went on to gain international critical acclaim for the innovative, continuous shot music video for Blue - the ROB.GREEN EP's debut single, which featured Game of Thrones star Joe Dempsie as a love interest that has turned sour, currently with over 50k streams.

Rob’s latest singles have gained the attention of BBC Introducing's Dean Jackson. Received plays from Tom Robinson (BBC 6MUSIC) and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1).

His third studio EP, MANHOOD, filmed in a single take was released NOV 03 2023 and is his first visual EP. It explores themes of sexuality, race and masculinity. The EP’s first single I’LL BE AROUND was made BBC Introducing Track of the Week in September 2023 and was added to the 6Music playlist by Tom Robinson calling it ‘the kind of songwriting that can save lives’

This is an ethos the self-managed and self-releasing artist will extend into his planned headline tour in Spring 2024. Bringing together a local lineup of artists, poets and listeners into secret, intimate spaces around the country. We will see warm, welcoming, immersive living rooms or as Rob has coined, “a very different kind of man cave” inviting us to gather, to reflect and explore the EP’s themes around the importance of seeking support, curating healthy social circles and connecting with, and honouring our true selves.
